Form provides lower cost and superior toughnessinreplacing
epoxy syntactice foams in applications downto 3000 feet.
HCP will also provide twice the bouyancyper cubic foot of epoxy syntactic foam.

Hydraullc Crush Point (HCP) is the pressure where the HCP foam specimen has reached a volume decrease of 5%. Divinycell - HCP Foam having a hydraulic crush point e.g. ranging from 30 to 39 bars (900 ft to 1170 ft) will be classified as HCP Grade 30.

HCP Grade is determined by putting the HCP specimen into an autoclave from which all air is removed. The water pressure is increased in 180 ft depth increments. Water tem perature is 23 ℃. Each increment is timed to allow for material creep. Material creep must be stabalized at the 5% decrease in volume for a continuous usage at the HCP Grade/depth rating.
